I don’t know why you ask this question. Just go to the post office and they will tell you how much to put on it. And it usually takes less than a week.

    Or check online:

I’m not American and even I know this.

how do i send it? This is what you have to write:

    Penpal’s first + last name
    Street name + House number
    Zip Code + City
    Germany

how many stamps do i need?
It costs 94 cents to send an average weight letter to Europe. You post office will have those stamps, if you ask for them. Don’t forget to put ari mail stickers on there, but again, the post office employee will take care of that for you.

how long does it take to get there?
I would say it will take a week. I have had some letters arrive there within 3 days, but others took up to 2 weeks for no obvious reason. But they travel a long way, so I guess it’s understandable.

Enjoy writing your penpal! Hope I helped

In the States, their should be an international letter mail stamp, or was that cancelled? I have no idea, anyways, if you’re not sure, just go to the post office, and either ask them to sell you the stamp, or ask them to charge you for a shipping label. It takes about 3-7 days, depending on USPS. Once it’s in Germany, it’s usually next day delivery.

    You need:

    Last First Name
Address w/ apartment unit if applicable
    Zip Code + City
    Germany or Deutschland
