Dylan asked:
I’m not generalizing, but i was just in the religious section and most religious people (mostly christians) are very unnaproving of the *** lifestyle. So what do you guys think? I’m all for *** rights, seeing as they’re human beings that should mean they get all the rights as everyone else. As far as Im concerned this is a serious case of stereotypical religious beliefs.

Not for me,it’s beyond my comprehension how a bloke would prefer another bloke instead of a lass.
To each their own though.
I don’t think about it at all. It has NO effect on me what other people do in their private lives.
I don’t care who anyone sleeps with, ********** or heterosexual. Its their business.
And I also think all the legislation and voting and arguing and political nonsense about for or against homosexuals is one of the biggest money and time wasters in the world.
If you(or who ever) believes it is wrong, great. that’s your belief.
There are many things much worse that are also in the Bible that are wrong and no-one is freaking out as much about that as they are about what 2 *** people may or may not be doing behind closed doors.
Secular marriage can be between who ever it wants to be, as long as species lines aren’t crossed and if we ever discover life on another planet, that will be a whole new can of worms.
sickening
A person does not just wake up one day and decide to be ***. It is not a *** life style. You are born ***. No one in their right mind would chose a life style that is not accepted by all of society. I think that christians (of all people) should accept a person for who they are. Obviously God wants us to accept it or he would have never made them that way. God doesn’t make everyone perfect and it seems like we accept all other birth defects except this one. Most *** people will tell you that they knew they were different from a very young age but it doesn’t become real apparent until after puberty. Homosexuals are people. Human beings. I love all my fellow human beings.
I prefer the Don’t ask, don’t tell policy. If they mind their own business then I can certainly do the same. I wish them no harm. I am against *** marriage. Marriage is for a man and a woman. Another type of partnership agreement should be offered to homosexuals who desire that type of commitment.
Well the way I see it is, we are all born with certain organs, and I believe the **** is for emptying the bowls, and not there to have something shoved up!
But i also believe we should treat people as we wish to be treated by them.
I don’t really think about them until some one brings up this ridicules issue… people are people and that is that…
Why in the world must we categorize people. People are people, and if a church wants to marry a couple, then they have the religious freedom to do just that. If a church does not want to marry a couple, then they have the religious freedom NOT to marry them as well. I really do not understand the hoopla. I find it hard to believe people don’t have more important things to worry about, I know I do.
People are people. We aren’t all the same but yet we are more alike than different.
I believe in Live and let Live. We should be treating each other with a little kindness, courtesy and keep our noses in our own business.
Well C, as a Christian, I like the people, but do not like what they do. It is not up to us to make judgements, only God can judge people’s souls.
I don’t dwell on the *** lives of others. I don’t think being *** is a choice. If more people would mind their own business there would be less turmoil. I have relatives that are *** and have friends that are *** and they are just people trying to get through life just like anyone else.
It depends on the older folk.
Personaly, I don’t want anyone who chooses that lifestyle persecuted in any way as I know ppl who have chosen that.
And I don’t get the big deal about not letting *** ppl be legaly married. I don’t see where that hurts hetero marriages at all.
On the other hand, I don’t approve of a ‘gay lifestyle’ that includes multiple partners, any more then I approve of a hetero lifestyle that does.
And I feel a bit sorry for anyone who chooses homosexuality. I think it’s not an easy choice and will bring heartache.
Also this thing that women who choose it are not as bad somehow as men who choose it, sets off my ‘fair’ button.
Adam was made for Eve and Eve was made for Adam
Peoples sexual orientation is none of my business..
Not all old folks are Christian.
Old folks have a mixed bag of beliefs and limited thinking just like all others of various ages.
This old folk believes that people who practice different desires than I should be left alone. I don’t approve of some *** acts for MY *** life that is practiced by heterosexuals. And these are acts that are attributed to a *** life style too.
So if I were to get into what others do that I don’t approve of for me I would have to be against what a lot of people do who are not ***.
People make assumptions about people that are not true. If the person is *** they ASSUME certain acts and it is not always true. But then maybe the assumption is made by a hetero who has that kind of mind.
I don’t want to visualize what two heteros do either.
If you connect this to the religion of a person I would just have to say they need to be right and on the winning side in order to validate their beliefs.
When in truth, the belief is just for those who believe in that religion…but they don’t get it…so you will continue to see this ‘one way or the highway’ attitude on the Q and A sites.
From a point of judgement, there are people in this world that I like others that I do not. There are gays straights that I like gays straights that I do not like. There are Men Women that I like others that I don not. There are Republicans Democrats that I like Reps Dems that I dont like. I do think you are generalizing… Not all SCs are alike in thinking
I don’t care what they do with each other as long as they don’t bother me.
I dont think about it..to each his own.
