how often is too often, and it starts getting annoying?

how should I
Manda G asked:

I’ve been thinking a lot about a guy i used to date. So, recently i’ve sent him a couple of ‘hello’ text messages. At first he seemed really cool toward me with his replies. Now he seems more relaxed and will ask questions back.
He’s a very shy person, first time we went out he’d been trying to ask me out for months before he plucked up the courage. I’ve grown up a lot since we split, all my doing, I apologised after and he said all was ok, but avoided me totally for a few months.
Well I’m pretty sure he still does like me, but his shyness may be holding him back again.
He’s never ignored a text i’ve sent, so far. How often should i be texting him? I dont want to give up because i think i’m getting through, slowly! which is how i wanted to go.
I dont want to become annoying and overdo the texting, so how often?
I just started texting before christmas, i’ve started 2 conversations since.
I’m in my 20s and so is he, neither have much experience.

First things first, how old are you and how often do you text him now?
It sounds like he’s enjoying the attention! And you’re relationship ended quite well last time, it’s good that you’ve plucked up the courage to show him that you’re interested again! And it’s good that you can see your faults and stuff..
I’d say that your texting isn’t annoying! Especially as you say he’s become more relaxed and texts back every time. But I can’t tell you without a tiny bit more information ^ So I’ll come back to see if you’ve answered.
But for now, go for it! Grab the chance whilst you can and don’t regret it! (:

See that sounds pretty good to me! And especially as your in your 20s you’ve got an excuse to go out and have a good time with him! Arrange something with your friends and ask him and a few others to come along! You’ll get it together! Good luck!
