just plan out a circuit (i assume you did circuit training in school?) like each station a different activity and there are alot that don't involve equiptment.
a) pressups
b)crunches
c)sit ups
d) tricep dips
e)shuttles
f)fast feet

and there are alot more that i don't know the name of.

this is a good website for infomation and names and how to do many different exercises.

i play 2nd row too, and i find just rugby training is all i need for my fitness. 3 times a week.

You could do push ups and sit ups etc. Also you could drink uncooked eggs which have a lot of protein. Kiwis and other citric fruits are good. Take multivitamins and other supplements. Could weight lift with household things like a book. If you don't want to lift heavy things use light equipment and do it with more energy than heavy dumbbells. Finally, jogging and short sprints also help amazingly. Hope this helped.

You can get a pretty good full-body workout with mostly body weight exercises. I'd suggest you buy a pull-up bar and a large sandbag. Check the links below on how to construct a sandbag to work out. I used small kitchen trash bags filled with about 5 pounds of sand each, double bagged and knotted. Those small bags went into a large, heavy-duty trash bag. Then that went into a small military dufflebag. You can do squats and most olypmpic lifts with the sandbag, and it will work out your stabilizer muscles as well.

This is the workout our team does when we are away from any equipment. It's called the television workout because you should be able to do it during the course of a standard television program.
Television Workout
10 explosive push-ups (where your hands actually come off the ground due to the upward force. Rocky claps his hands after each one)
25 situps
15 burpees (aka squat-thrusts)
10 explosive push-ups
25 situps (quickly touch left elbow to right knee, then right elbow to
left knee each time up)
15 burpees
25 regular push-ups
10 leg raises Lay on ground, lift legs 6-12 inches off the ground, hold for one minute.
10 push-ups with hands close set so your thumbs touch and your forefingers touch (making a diamond in between)
15 Mountain climbers
10 elevated push-ups (feet on floor, hands on chair or coffee table)

ok so i learned this from a guy who came in and taught my u15 girls team and u16 guys team. I am in second row to and he told me just do crunches but have ur feet in a 90 degree angle off the ground and super mans like lay on your stomach and put your arms and legs up like superman. You can also take a couple of pillows and put then under your lower back and do crunches and squats where your **** is parallel to the ground dont drop your knees act as if you are about to sit on a chair. Also the easiest thing to do is just run with high knees and kick your **** like really easy stuff like that every night for about a week and you will start to see a difference.

Go and practice lifting the car in the backyard if you dont want to speed any money. Then you can practice pulling trees out of the ground that should give you good strength. but really at your age weights shouldn't be the questions just fitness. Do the norm, Press ups, Sit ups and running. Build the muslce that you already have on your body but in the end fitness will save you on the field not muscle. Play football if you want to play a sport where you on need to use your legs and thats it. Play Union or League if you want to play a complete sport using your body!

Easy, do garage gym. Im in the Leicester Tigers Academy and they have told us to use our own weight (pull ups, press ups). Go running a lot. and there are two wierd things as well. Lift large tractor tryes as they build core strenght and use a rubber band to tie around urself and a pole and run. This gets leg strenght.

lift your own weight - press ups, sit ups, pull ups, squats etc. There is no need to do weights until your 16, i've played a team colts rugby and also happened to play second row!

If your prepared to go through the extra effort do some long ditance and sprint training aswell as this will increase your stamina and the effectiveness of you running at the opposition back line. The bleep test is great for this as it trains both.

Remember to work on your hands aswell!

you could get a pull up bar from argos, they are less than £10 and you can use it to do sit ups pull ups and lots of ab workouts. Other than that i guess lots of manual work. If you have little money try ebay for weight equipment, you will be amazed at the difference a bit of weight work will make! but your right not to take any steroids, they do alot of harm. My boyfriend trains completely steroid free and the results are incredible, his muscles look huge and defined and he doesnt look like a bloated steroid freak. good luck!
