How to get your accurate weight on a scale?

Kait asked:

I have a digital scale in my room at the moment, it’s actually my roommate’s scale, but anyway I was wondering how to get an accurate read off of it. If I stand one way, then my weight could be one thing, but if I stand another way, then the weight changes. Do you know how I can get my actual weight using it? Thanks!

Sounds like the weight is not well designed or made, so it’s difficult to guess. Try standing different ways, the highest weight will be the correct one, because if you’re not standing properly not all your weight will be on the plates.
