no way! im going on the first day too! maybe you should be there around 3:45 thats probably the best…so it won’t be totally crowded or too crowded you can sit down! im so excited omg! lol hope i helped i just hope people wont constantly be talking the whole time!
you should go early like 3:30, a lot of people always go to the 1first day it comes out. It’s going to be really crowded. Just make sure you get a good seat. Also at 4:30 a lot of people will be there because there parents probably just got out of work, so they can take them. If you get there to early it’s going to be boring. Before the movie starts don’t get up to go to the bathroom cause someone might take your seat- it happened to me before! Other than that have fun!! : )
i have to agree with you, not sure where you live, if you live in a city with only one theater, than you should expect to arrive extra early

I’m sure 3:00 is fine.. I’m going to the midnight showing at my theater (I preordered my tickets as well) and I’m getting there at 10:45 pm. So probably 3 is good because i know SOOOO many people going to a 430 showing after school.
Well, I am an obsessed Twilight fan and I’m going 2 1/2 hours before the movie and I don’t have preorderd tichets. I live in a small town though so I don’t really have to show up too early. I would get there when they start to let people in just so that you can make sure that you can get a good seat. Hope this helps!

I also purchased the tickets a week before for 5:30pm tomorrow and I’ll probably leave at 3:30 since it takes about 15-20minutes to get to the theater. But after seeing all the answers, i think i should even before what i thought was a good time..so take every answers in consideration, have loads of fun =)

I had tickets to the 12:01 premier last night. We got there at 10:30 and they were letting ppl in. Either way, you have a seat, its just where you want to sit in the theater. the lines were INSANE and everyone already had advance tickets.
An hour and half is plenty. I went to the midnight showing last night two hours early, and honestly I would have been fine only showing up a half hour early. But for a Friday night, you need to be there 1 and half hours early. Have fun, you will love it!
dont go at three thats too early but just leav your house at 3 or 3.15 (guessing you live 30 mins away) and get there at 3.30 or 3.45

I would suggest you buy your tickets early (I’ve been buying mine a few days early.) Then you just have to get to the theater 15 to 20 minutes early to get good seats, instead of going hours early to get tickets.
