How much should I pay for a taxi ride between Rupnagar or Ropar (in Punjab) and Chandigarh?

Suggest you rent a cab for a day which has a cap on the number of kilometers you can do. (80 Kms for Rs 700) You should be able to come to chandigarh and do you bit of running around within that mileage. However, I am not sure of what kind of cab facilities you may get in Rupnagar.
