What did you expect college to be like or what do you expect college to be like?

Dancing Lady 101 asked:

What kind of activities or people did you expect to meet?

What kinds of things did you/do you expect to do in college?

College was pretty much how i thought it was gonna be … Money troubles … Sleeping in a tiny dorm rooms , partying and late night study setions because I waited to the last minute to do it… I met other people like me who were more talkative and more into what i was into at the time … Still really good friends of mine .

I hope college is better then high school! Im not the partying type so i don’t expect to college to be a party time. I hope to meet other people going into my major to maybe make life long friends. I expect to study a lot and have a part time job! I also hopefully can join a club that meets once a week to make friends. I can already tell you im not going to stay in dorms! I live in Boston which is college capital of the states so i can communte home after classes.

I’m currently at community college and soon to transfer to a 4 year university.

Don’t know how things are at a 4 year university, but so far things have been amazing!! I wasn’t expecting much when I started but college is going to be the best time of my life. I fell in love, and even though I can’t be with that person I was able to experience true love.

The thing that I do **** is that each semester feels like senior year of high school. It’s the last time you will see some of those people. It’s a pain because finally when I’m feeling comfortable with my classmates things have to end.
