don’t keep that stuff in your house
rather eat something healthier like grapes or rasberries or even popcorn
Try *******… It helps alot.. Keeps your mind of things.. and can cure boredem.
Try to find something to do.. or start a project (cleaning out closets) or just find a new hobby. Go outside ride a bike.. call a friend. Just do something dont sit around..
man i should take my own advice.. easier said then done..
answer mine please?
people use food as a comfort when they are tired/stressed.
so you had the most crappiest day? and you want to feel better? right there with ya!
it may seem impossible
but go for a 10 miute run
OR
stretch for 5 mins
OR
text a friend
OR
paint your nails
OR
play with your pet
etc etc anything that takes you mind off it is great.
hope this helps
lota love xxx
Try to eat an energy bar or some fruit..it helps and doesn’t pack on calories! or exercise/preoccupy your mind
grab something that would be healthier. sometimes i would want an ice cream but instead i would have grapes. i’d still eat, but it’d be healthier. or focus on something else.
Take up a hand hobby like needlepoint or cross stitch. It really helps.
1) you should be drinking at least 2 liters of water per day. If you are not, it is possible that what you are experiencing is thirst combined with emotional attachments to certain tastes. Make sure your water intake is adequate, and you may find that this problem isn’t quite as hard for you to deal with anymore.
#2) pinch your hand for a minute. You will find that as you continue to pinch, the initial pain you experienced is not as severe. By the end of the minute, you hardly feel it at all. Why is that? It is because the body has a natural reaction to prolonged discomfort. Over time, continued discomforts become less uncomfortable as the body adapts to negative stimulation. What this means for your munchy problem is simple: in situations where you crave foods and you know you are not hungry, decide you are not going to eat right then and then distract yourself for 10 minutes with something else. Read a book, watch tv, go for a walk… doesn’t really matter what you do. The point is to ride the craving out until it isn’t as bad. You will find this gets easier to do over time.
Tell yourself that the more junk you eat the more time you will need to spend in the gym! It will be in your mouth for 10 seconds. On your body for a lot longer.
are you sure you dont smoke when your bored and THEN get the munchies..
dont deny it
