Glass cleaner is most definitely not safe on a plastic screen. You can try rubbing alcohol, or denatured alcohol. Try a corner first to make sure you don’t ruin the screen.

Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. Works like a charm on wax. Citrus-based, safe for plastic.
