  • I guess it’s ok. I mean all those fish at stores aren’t THAT fresh. Maybe put them in the freezer?

  • Normally you’d cut the guts out, scale and then put it in the freezer, not fridge.

Come on, guts in your freezer? No chance.

  • Put them in a pan and put a lot of ice on them they will be fine.
You can put them in the frig for tonight and clean tomorrow.

  • If you want the best out of you fish gut them asap…fish shops sell you with guts in cos thats how they bought them and they paid for the guts too..

  • Short answer, you should clean them tonight, but it is safe to wait until tomorrow if you ice them.

Ok, so here is the thing, when the guts stay in it can alter the flavor of the meat. If you want the best taste possible, then clean and cook them tonight. You can wait until tomorrow, but I always clean my fish the same day that I catch them.

  • They will be OK but they will be much better if you clean them tonight.

  • Just be sure to keep them on ice, not in the refrigerator or freezer. It would be wise to gut them now.

  • TMH

Put them on ice or clean them tonight. It’s a bad idea to leave the guts in any fish for an extended period of time.

  • the more they wait the worst there gona taste becuase the fillets are like marinating in dead fish guts so the sooner u get them out the better the fish

i made that mistake once :-P
