What is Spyware Guard and how do I get rid of it, it keeps popping up telling me to run scans?

I haven’t been on this computer in awhile and the guys say they haven’t downloaded anything so what is this Spware Guard 2008 that keeps coming up. I went to control panel add/delete and deleted it but it won’t go away. I already use Norton,AVG,and Spybot and do random cleanups on here. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of it for good?
