How do you make a GIMP or Photoshop brush pack to put online?

Uberkid asked:

I know how to make brushes already, and I tried to look up how to make Packages for others to use and all I get are the tutorials for how to create a brush…
I have lots of brushes and its a pain for everyone to have them uploaded one at a time, I’d like to be able to make sets for public use.
Can someone please help me?

Put them in a zip file. Right click on a blank space on you desktop, choose NEW then click Compressed (Zipped) Folder. Give the new folder a name. Double click the new zip folder to open it. Click and drag to add your files to the zip folder.

After creating your brushes in Photoshop, open the brush preset picker. Delete all but the brushes you’ve created. Click the small right arrow circle icon on the top right of the dialog box. Click save brushes. You’ll notice you’re saving a file with abr as the file type. That is a brush set. No need to zip your file, just share that file with the world.
p.s. Share it w/ me when your done ;-)
