First, if you haven’t already you need to make good on whatever got you into the Chex system. I’m assuming that you have probably already done that, but wanted to make sure.
I don’t know how long that information stays with Chex, but probably longer than will suit you.
About the only thing you might be able to do is offer the bank some collateral of some sort. Perhaps open a CD with them and allow them to hold that as security for any problems that come up with the checking account. They may not do this, but it would be worth asking.
Have you asked the bank for their advice? They should be able to tell you what you need to do to become acceptable to them as a risk.
