you can’t put WMA files on your ipod. you will need to open itunes click:
Fileadd file to librarythen the choose the song.
then it should give you the option to convert them to an MP3
Change the files to .wav or .mp3. using some cheap software. You could try renaming the song title giving it the extensions named.
For example change Greatest love of all.wma to
Greatest love of all.mp3. Don’t forget the dot. You may be trying to listen to a song that someone else has purchased from i-tunes, and given to you, it will only play on that persons computer/i-pod
you shouldnt have to pay anything…
go into the itunes settings and probably look under import settings and change those around.. and you can probably select certain songs to convert into mp3 which would be eligible for the ipod
you can probably listen to wma songs to a different mp3 player not in an apple ipod.. you need to convert it first from wma to mp3 format coz thats the only way your ipod could read it.. there are programs out there that are free and can help you convert your songs to mp3.. try checking the site below. its the converter im using for a year already. very user friendly. its free and you can download it at the site below. goodluck.
You can’t, in this case for 2 reasons. One the song is protected therefore you wouldn’t be able to make alterations to it. And 2, its WMA. WMAs never work on iPods (I think mostly due to the fact of its Microsoft Windows affliation). You’d have to convert it to MP3 or AAC (which iTunes does automatically) in order to put it on the iPod.
It’s absolutely free, safe, no popups and no subscripttion required. You just upload the WMA and convert them to the file ipods take (mp3s) and then you can put them on to your Ipod.
