Laury_on, I usually start mine off at 400F for 15 to minutes then turn it down to 350F. I put my pork roast on a rack in my baking dish, and add water, the rack is used so the pork is not sitting in the water. As for duration, would be good if you gave us the weight.

I like braising pork roast in a malty beer, myself. Less yeast and hops, more malt, like a Vienna Lager or possibly, Porter. You could also use apple juice or Zinfandel. Put an aluminum tent over it and cook for 20 minutes or so each pound, flip at some point, around 375.
I’m not sure, if you want a crispy skin, you will have to remove the liquid and then raise the temperature to 500 for about 10 minutes.
I would do it in the crock pot, they always come out dry from the oven in my exsperience.
