I’ve recently gotten into making youtube videos, like fan videos for movies and fandoms as such. What’s the best, free program to use? Please don’t say Windows Movie Maker, and I have AVS, but I only have the trail version and that annoying red text is in the middle of the screen.

So are some good, free programs I could use?

Sony Vegas 8 or 9 by far.
My YouTube account name is. Just compare my videos from 2008 when I used Corel Video Studio and Movie Maker compared to recently with Sony Vegas. It takes awhile to get used to, but it is an amazing program once you grasp it. Just download the program’s free trial from the official website then use a keygen to make it official

I’m sorry to say it, but AVS is trash. Please, please stay away from it _
If you want a free program I’d recommend Pinnacle VideoSpin. It’s a slimmed-down version of Avid, a professional movie-making program. It can still do a lot with video, transitions, and title overlays so I consider it a great movie-making tool.
befoe you choose any one,you should know a good one have these features:
1.Ease of Use
2.Capture / Playback
3.Editing Tools
4.Editing Effects / Transitions
5.Export / Production
6.Help/Documentation/Tech Support
choose one fit you.

Hey. i think this youtube video editing program is a good choice, Within five steps, you can share your videos all over the world.
1: Import your favorite videos to Photo MovieTheater.
2: Photo MovieTheater provides array of transition styles from family to new HD style.
3: Decorate Videos with background music, caption, narration, illustration and effects.
4: Publish the video with formats accepted by Youtube. The video files like
3GP, AVI, MOV, MPEG, FLV, MKV,etc. are all accepted by YouTube. All of them can be
found in Photo MovieTheater output formats.
5: Upload the video to Youtube
Once you’ve finished editing your video, made sure it’s less than 10 minutes, smaller
than 2GB in size, and in an acceptable format, then go to Youtube website and
you’re ready to upload it.

I have used a few video editing programs and the easiest one has been DVD Slideshow Builder. Very easy to use with professional features and same sort of layout as Movie Maker however a lot more powerful.
Hope it helps
adobe premiere is my favourit
