Im not sure about this relationship I have with this one girl. We’ve been friends for about 2 years. We’ve told each other things that we wouldn’t have told anyone else. I just think we are both sending mixed signals, but I could be wrong. But whenever we walk by each other, no matter where, when, or with whoever, we both can’t help smiling. She really likes when I walk home with her, she even told me it makes her feel safe. Earlier this year I probably blew it by telling her I had some feelings for her, and she said we should just stay friends, but Im just not understanding why she would still be sending mixed signals, it could just be me. Sometimes she ignores my texts or gives me short answers but a lot of people do that to me, so maybe im annoying as heck, idk..I’ll also see her flirt with a lot of other guys, and I don’t mind it, but I do notice in class, when I kind of put my head down or look away from her, if I’m quick I can see her looking at me, but then she’ll turn back, and I know she really cares about me, and I care about her, because she doesn’t like me playing football because she’s afraid I’ll get hurt, and instead I should do swimming cause i’ll get a hot body xDDD, but seriously, I feel stuck, and don’t know what to do

Again my main issue is the becoming friends part. I always though friends make it harder to later be together!
