Anyway, I stopped talking to him and told him I’d like to cut off contact because I was too upset and it was too much to handle – keeping up a pretence of being friends when really I want more. He also hurt me on a few occasions by being immature, and closed about his emotions. Anyway – I have a social gathering coming up soon. And I will see him as he’s on the guest list. My girl friend’s dad is an incredibly stung-out person (He once grounded her for saying she needed a hug on facebook after he had yelled at her), and he doesn’t want her dating until she’s 16. I’m okay with this, primarily because we live in different states and couldn’t date even if he let us. The problem is, he wants to cut off contact between us because of something stupid we did on facebook (we set our relationship statuses to engaged as a joke to see how people would react). I just don’t want to lose her. I know we can’t see eachother (even literally), but that doesn’t mean I want to be with her any less. How can I convey to him that I only want to make her happy and feel good about herself? It’s not like I’m going to get her pregnant (again, several states away from eachother), and I’m not some pedo (I JUST turned 17 today).  Growth vs Oil asked:

My real roommate is off studying abroad in Rome, so for this semester I’ve been living with a subletter. She’s was alright, until she got a new boyfriend who is at our place ALL THE TIME. As in, almost every day, if not every single day. He’s nice, but our apartment has no privacy (we share a room, the walls don’t meet the ceiling, etc) and honestly, it’s only big enough for two, especially since I’m an art major and need space for my work He helps himself to my food which isn’t for him, gets in the way (especially in the kitchen…he cooks here every night and i can’t use the kitchen), SNORES (ughhhhhh), and our water bill has went WAY up since he’s been around. Dude. You don’t live here, don’t shower here every day. It really bugs me especially since my boyfriend and I always try to be polite and mindfull about being invasive.
